Ive had one of these pedals on my boards for years, its actually a pedal that has always stayed on my board when I've made changes. Its a very warm overdrive and you can use it as a clean boast also, however the Xotic RC-Boaster is the best clean boast I've tried!!

I absolutely love this pedal! It really sounds great on clean and dirty channels, and retains great clarity with a nice warm tone. If its good for Andy Timmons and Greg Howe, its good enough for me hehe.

Dean, what amp are your running it through now? Still playing through your JSX? I recently watched your video in the studio again when you were shredding, and I want this amp all over again. Went full circle from wanting ENGL and Mesas, but I think I want the JSX first. Then when I have space and more cash the Lone Star :D.
Oh, and where are the vids of the 20th and Silo Special??? :D

Great pedal, as mnetioned above, it always stays in the chain regardless of what else comes and goes. I was running one into my Lone Star before I knew Timmons did it. I still don't have the tone AT does, though, but I doubt it's the hardware.

Great pedal - I'd love one!

I was contemplating getting a BB plus - then my son went to Uni and I had to fund other things.

I still hanker after one though after hearing Allen Hines (xotic endorsee) demonstration them.

I must concur. The whole X-otic line is great. I have the RC (must have) the BB another (must have), and I also have the BB+, all right in a row. Very transparent units, that sound great thru my Dr. Z.

Geh, I've been trying to find one of these for an eternity. I need a boost for my Roadster and I think this is the one.

Congrats! Good score. Pair it up with an AC and/or RC from Xotic and you will be goin' from clean to mean in no time at all. Rock on, rock on, rock on!!! :D

edit: better yet, run yer 20th (and any EBMM guitar) thru all three pedals into a Boogie, Badcat or Dr Z and you will just be lovin' it :) :D

cheers always, eh

I don´t know the BB, but I love the RC, which is a fantastic booster. It´s on first position in my pedal chain, and it´s running the whole time. Very versatile with its bass and treble knobs and great with the singlecoils of my Silo spec.
