Y2D and Luke neck shapes? Any one own both guitars? How do the necks compare?

How does the Y2D neck compare to a Luke neck?

I am seriously interested in the Y2D after seeing Pete Dubaldo's Namm shots of that killer looking guitar and doing a bit of research on it.. I think it was a "solar burst", not sure on the name of the color though. The fact that it has the floyd is very appealing.

I am wondering if any one can tell me how much of a difference there actually is when switching from guitar to guitar? The specs below indicate very minimal differnces, at least on paper, with the exception of the fret wire.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Luke:
1-5/8" (41.3 mm) at nut, 2-3/16" (55.6 mm) at last fret

y2D:
1-5/8" (41.3 mm) at nut, 2-1/4" (56.9 mm) at last fret

The neckshapes are different.
Y2D/Morse has a C-shape, Luke has a soft V-shape

Banjo is right on! The color on the y2d is called "solar flare" - similar to solar burst but with purple on the edges

I own at least one of each EBMM model except a Luke which is my friends favorite Ball so I have played them on many occasions.The best way I can put it is if you like an Axis or an AL you will 85% if not higher like every other neck profile in the line, with the exception of a JP and Luke which would be the two guitars I would advise someone to play first. The JP because it is a very thin shred style neck and the neck that is most unlike any other model. The Luke has a soft V and to me feels a tad smaller then say a Y2D but I would say that is do to a V compared to a C shape. If you already own a Luke and are looking to get a Y2D it should not be an issue at all, as I am certain you have played C shaped necks many times.
