Well I caved into the pressure and emailed customer service. Apparently there are 2 that were ordered from my local store and the other one is nearing completion but mine hasn't been started yet.

I'll just hang out and wait with Tommy.

I think I'm just as excited to see what Beej and Pete's look like...

I prefer to think that that one is just a normal top and that they're expecting a shipment of really really nice figured maple and that's why mine hasn't been started yet...

Hey ya do what it takes to get you by... at this point it's not that big of a deal.

I will talk to my buddy at the store and see if I can find out when the other one comes in to sneak a peak when it's picked up. Although I guess it could be for the store's inventory too...
