Wondering if you mix sets or buy singles to maintain the Morse/Y2D string gauge or do you just go with a set of Super Slinkys or Regular Slinkys and call it good? Something else? Just curious. My usual go to set is coated Super Slinkys, but they just don't feel right (loose) on the Y2D. Thanks. Bob

Same here, but I've been using the coated slinkys...they last forever! I can imagine how 9s would be really loose, as it is insanely easy to play even with 10s. I love the Y2D!!!!

I used to put 10s on every guitar since that was the gauge most comfortable for me, but since I have hand problems I dropped back to 9s and have been usin the Coated Slinkys the last 6 months and wonder why I did not use coated strings much sooner. I am personally hard on strings and would be lucky to keep a set fresh for a week, but these are the bomb and I can get close to a month out of them easy. I personally like how they feel and where as not wiping down strings after just one practice session would be the end these guys still feel fresh, plus I notice no change in tone.

Regular or hybrid slinkys, though recently I used hybrid ones more (nice for all fourths tuning)
