Is the Floyd on the y2d floating or dive-only?

They switched to floating in late 08 I believe.. Mine lowers pitch only.

Thanks. I remember seeing them without the cutout so o figured I'd ask. Now get some money, find a purple sunrise with a Floyd and have some fun. Maybe at NAMM they will put out a 24 fret version...

i doubt it steve morse doesnt like 24 fret guitars he says he doesnt like how having 24 frets makes the neck pickup sound

Never say never Tommy..... SM might wake up one day and decide he wants to change everything and also play left handed too (as he should)

Sad thing is he will still be a zillion times better than me and I will still pay big bucks to go see him haha
