Shimi,

If you're looking to part with more of your money, I'd sure like a 20th Anniversary Silhouette with the upgrade quilt top. ;) I'll take a rosewood or maple fretboard, or one of each! :D

Yeah, I remember when I first saw a Mick Mars ad for Kahler. Man, I thought they were so cool. DUDE! I was like in the third grade!

i have an Axis SS MM90 on the way (used) and i am thinking of getting the neck reprofiled to emulate the luke neck.
This reminds me of the time three or four years back when I called up Beth and asked to get a one-off Luke with an Axis neck (maple board, matching headstock)... Of course she said "No", but she was so damned nice about it that I wanted to bear her children afterwards!

Hi Shimi,

I apologize for not getting back to you today. BP, our company CEO/President/Owner (I know how you love titles, BP! :D) and Dargin/Scott Ball, his son have both been really busy lately. Since you are an international customer, you have been in my inbox today. I got tied up with lots of exciting stuff here at EB/MM today and didn't get a chance to get back to you.

The reason why we have this forum here is for people to get help and advice and share their love for Ernie Ball/Music Man products. It is also a great tool for us at EB/MM to hear the voice of you, the customer.

That said, we duly note all opinions and consider the customer when BP and Dudley get their heads together on a new project. We listen to you. However, we have so many orders for people who are happy with the options we offer, it is impossible to serve each individual's needs and tastes.

It appears to me that you have not gotten a chance to play the Y2D yet. Where are you located? This way I can help you find a place where you could try one and decide whether or not you like the look and feel of the Luke better or the look and feel of the Y2D better. If you're anything like the fruitcakes here on the EB/MM forum, you'll love 'em both and want to buy both! :p :)

As soon as I get back to the office tomorrow, I'll make sure we get back to you by e-mail.

All the best,
Beth :)
