So finally I got my hands on the HS Dargie 5, thanks to Biker4Him
Plays like a dream, and boy is the color cool in person!
I'll do some group shots of envy-dargie when I get home, until then just accept this as proof that Strummer now has two Bongo fivers again, but now it's ALL GREEN

and to think, that back in the day, I almost had one for me own in HSP but I chickened out when the accountant looked sideways at me
and "what the heck would an accountant know about such matters of importance as a brand spank ers new Dargie ... but the beauty thang is, he's now babysittin' the new SR5 I ordered instead, and I still gotta get lefty wakin up in the morning ... and you, enjoy those green OS even if I am a wee bit envious ... there could even be a new O 5 or 6 in my future yet, possibly in Desert Gold, or Egyptian Smoke or Carbon Blue Pearl ??? ohhhhhhhhhhhhh the pressure of important decisions!!!!!!!!!!!!!
