Kinmans are great pickups, its a shame Fender stole his design and no market them as 'Fender noiseless'
for starters Chris didn't design them, a Brisbane guy named Joe Malone designed them. Fender didn't steal his design either, dimarzio soon put that argument to rest real quick. Chris likes to tell people he invented the wheel when he really has just improved on it like others...

All I know... literally...

Is that my guitar sounds better than it ever has. I like the Kinman pickup and it works well for me. Of course, as with anything guitar like, it is up to one's opinion, but I for one was not disappointed in any way.

So yeah. Yay Ernie Ball and Yay Kinman pickups.

Oh, and I did get an entire set up. It all sounds/plays great!

i have kinmans in one of my strats too, they are ok but not sensational. the stock silo special pickups blow them away with ease, my opinion of course.

I'll + 1 on that. I just love the blue velvets I have a Hss but that position 4 is deadly.
