Yea !! My Bongo is fixed!!

EB sent me out a new jack for my dead Bongo. Got here in like 3 days!! thanks EB.
Now im wondering what caused the problem. when i bought the Bongo back in June, i also bought a Planet Waves(these have little grabber thingys on them) cable to use with it. Never used any other cable in this bass till someone "appropriated" the cord. Tried a regular cable and it wouldnt stick in jack...just fell right out on the floor. tried a bunch more regular cables and same thing.

So im wondering if the Planet Wave cable somehow screwd up my jack or did i just have a bad jack to start and never new it because of the PW grabbers. Anyone else ever have this trouble?? Needless to say im not taking anymore chances with Planet Waves myelf.

I use Planet Waves cables all the time and never had any problems with my Bongo or my JP's. What are these "grabber thingys" you are talking about? I personally never had problems with these cables. BTW, great to see your Bongo is back up and running again!
