Hey All,

Thanks for the compliments on the playing! I gotta say that the DD2 BFR JP is simply amazing. I commented to Rob that I'm bummed that I didn't get one. This guitar just feels amazing, looks amazing, and sounds amazing (with the Liquifyre/Crunch Lab). As evidenced by the vids, it can make a hack like me sound good.

Tonally, again as evidenced by the vid, the new pup combination gives the BFR JP a much clearer tone than the D-sonic/Air Norton Lite ... at least to my ears. The ebony board is like buttah. As someone who spent time learning classical, the ebony board feels so familiar to my fingers that the guitar almost feels more natural to me than my other Balls (some of which you can catch a glimpse of in the background).

BP and Crew, ya'll have hit another one outta the park. Thank you for such great instruments.

Now I gotta find me some one who has one of these as store inventory... Pete?

Awesome guitar. Congrats. Are the pickups the primary reason for the sound difference to the other JP6 BFR? The ebony effect can't be that drastic, can it?

I love the sound of those pickups, and there is some nice playing on there. What other gear were you running it thru, as I heard some delay on there.
