Thanks not only to BP, but to all of the EB staff for the event you put on. I've hosted much, much smaller events and I know that 10 times the work goes on behind the scenes to make things go so smoothly. So major kudos to all of you for the professionalism and positive attitudes. I really look to the EB family as a model of how a business should operate, and I really mean that. There's respect all around and it shows. What a breath of fresh air in the business world!

I had a great time meeting so many of you and if I could be more extroverted like BP, I would have met even more. :p BP, thanks for the golf recommendation. We ended up at Hunters Ranch and had a gorgeous day of golf followed by wine tasting, of course. :)

As for G.A.S., I would say the new Morse model has me going cross-eyed. :)

Thanks,
Paul

thanks paul what was the score? Were the grenns really good?, they usually are...paso has some fine wines

Well, uh, um, the score wasn't my best. :) I didn't add it up and my friend took the card, but I'd say somewhere in the 110 to 115 range. It's a tough course and I've only played about 3 years here and there. I guess I shoot around 107ish normally. I need lessons to really make the next step to breaking 100.

The greens were in excellent shape, but were fast as lightning on many holes. I don't think I've ever played a course with such firm greens. It was like putting a ball on ice and since my putting is my weakest link, there goes the score. Good fun though!

I bought wine at Eberle and J. Lohr and some freshly pressed olive oil at some place off the beaten path. I'm bringing the family back out to this area for sure. I loved it!

I really wanted to make it to both of those wineries. Did you get the olive oil at Turley? We got some there that was out of this world! They had excellent Zins too.

Hey Paul,

I'm sorry I didn't meet you this weekend. Or did I? I can't remember.

Anyway, someone else was telling me about the winery - there was also a brewery in town that looked interesting. I think SLO is such a pretty place.

No, it was Willow Creek Olive Farm. Good flavors they had there.
