My wife if really cool for the most part but this subject is funny!
Just before Christmas a fellow forumite was going to be potentially travelling to my area where we could hook up. My wife's response was "these are not your friends! You know nothing about these people. Meet them at a bar or something. They're not coming here!"
Truth is that I now know some you better than my own family members!

Hmm, My wife has the same response every time I tell her Colin is coming over. The strange thing is she's known him for years!!!

Well, that's just it. She doesn't really spend any time in forums, so it wasn't like someone was just emailing me and saying, "Hey--you live in the same city--can I come over to your house?"

Luckily for me, my wife spends time on her own forums, and has even made a pilgrimage to So. Carolina for a fest of their own.

She definitely understands the comeraderie and trust here.
