Got me thinking though, is there such a beast as a fretless guitar? I've never heard of one, bass sure, but not standard guitar. I guess you need the frets.

Adwex said:I once saw a guy open for Joe Satch (not G3) who played a fretless guitar. But the thing that made it even more unusual was that the fingerboard was made of glass. You heard right.........GLASS. I can't remember the guys name, but he obviously had a very unique style. Played solo, no band, no accompaniment.
