The Temple Rock Tavern is a famous pub in the center of Paris (31 bis Rue des Lombards), I'm sure @DrKev already played there ! (before it was called the Guinness Tavern but there was a disagreement between Guinness and the owner of the pub, thus the name has changed).

@fbecir I remember the Guinness Tavern. I never played there. Back in "my day" they were only interested in amateur or beginner French bands that would play only one or two gigs per year and therefore guarantee a good crowd of friends and family, even if the music was not great. They wouldn't pay the band well and the beer was expensive. And that's a business decision I understand, but wasn't for me.

Now, it's exactly the contrary : the bands that play are pro bands that can play all night with cover songs (Programme – Temple Rock Tavern)

With my band, we play mainly original songs, thus we can only play the opening slot. But it's a nice place because it's often full of people, thus we can promote our band. By the way, we are playing again there on May 15th.

Really like the short snippet of just you and the singer!! Picture ist awesome too!
Thanks a lot
Our singer, Anaïs, has a very nice voice. The idea was to have a song that really shows this.
For the record, when I found the chord progression, I was playing with a sound with quite a lot of reverb ... a sound close to that of Chris Isaak on Blue Hotel. Thus I called this song idea "Green Hotel" ...
After that Anaïs wrote the lyrics (in Spanish) and called the song Casa Verde (green house).

Had a gig this evening. It was outdoors on the Mississippi under a band shell. It was an absolute blast! Had an actual professional sound team dialing us in - first time I’ve ever had a monitor! And dang if I didn’t like it! Stage was waaaaay bigger than any other place we’ve played. Crowd of roughly 200+. A fun time was had by all! I think you can just make me out on the right there with Kaizen:
