That's my PRB from Pete shining in the light while my singer takes a break during my solo. I must have been throwing the switch to neck PU here. Played through my POD direct into the board, sounded great!

I think he is holding the pick in the crook of his middle finger on the picking hand. I suck at finger picking too! Maybe he's slapping the harmonic octave above the fretted note!?

I do quite a bit of finger picking and tapping, but the majority of my playing is with a pick. I use jazz style Cool Picks which are ever so slightly larger than the Jazz IIIs - you can kind of see it sticking out in the crook of my middle finger.
