Bongo vs. Sterling setting help

Hi everyone,

I've been on a little break from here. Hopefully, the door's still open.

I love both my Bongo and my Sterling, but when I'm gigging, I can't get my Bongo to cut through like my Sterling. When I tweak the EQ on the Bongo for some more mids to compensate, it sounds forced.

Any suggestions??? I know this is a subjective thingy...

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, same EQ on the LMII. Well, infact, BP, I sort of took your old approach to the Markbass. Everything flat, and twiddle with the VPF/VLE.

I have a feeling it's just me and my own taste. The Sterling, as many people have said here, cuts through like a ginsu.

I will try to dial up the lo-mids more purposefully next practice :)

Gotcha, BP. I'm just being a knucklehead. I have to do some more tweaking for my ears to hear the same cutting through on the bongo that I have with the sterling.
