As Jack has mentioned in post #19, I too have owned a fair share of EBMM basses (about five, that I recall); none of them had neck or electronics issues at all.

...Things happen, especially when you're talking about wood. Those things don't happen very often with EBMM instruments.
So:
A: Don't worry about something that isn't terribly likely to happen.
B: Let's talk more about what a great guy I am.

I don't know, man....you see that Job Listing BP put up there?

Like I said "No Worry"
- that 'Job Description' is just BP's loving and sensitive way (the big lug :) of giving you his appreciation for all you've done, and support & encouragement for all what you're gonna do in the evermuddy cybertrenches
- the beauty thang is, he also did your Performance Evaluation including your objective for the new season
- all's you gotta do to stay *AllStar* is to keep doing more what yer doin', and once or twice tough out some chainstore smog aka 'competitive research' in your 'mystery shoppersuit' (yeah - like nobody will recognize you :)

Besides, all of us EBMM cyberbass junkies *love* you to death
- and the one you really gotta fear is the one you can't see,
- and the one who ain't talkin' !!!

I'm having fun. You guys having fun?

You got your "Woo!" here.

June 28, 2005 was one of those moments where your life changes a little bit even if you don't realize it at the time. I'm a big enough geek that I saved this:

I was on my way out the door to a doctor's appointment but all I could think about was, "Holy Mother of God, why does Sterling want to talk to me?"

Funny, because what he wanted to know was why you, Steve Barr, were being such a huge PITA. Amongst other things.

And we talked about the Open House, too, I think. It was just a crazy idea then.

Well, I'm rambling now, but you got your "Woo!", brother.

If I haven't told all of you guys lately how much fun this is for me, well........

Woo!

Who's NorM?

Actually, BP called me the other day to touch base and the last thing he said was, "Go check the guitar forums, I've been hassling NorM again."

NorM actually, secretly is kind of cool, but don't let that get out.

That's pretty geeky Jack...all I remember is that it was about 10:00 pm on a Tuesday and I think I just broken up with that kinky nurse from Yuma and the phone rings and it's you and BP on a 3-way both half tanked on clear liquids during a massive monsoon thunderstorm out here in the desert and the conversation went on for a few hours...a few ice cubes could be heard over the lines back and forth...some major conversation went on on a variety of subjects and in the end Sterling simply said to me...

"Why aren't you selling my basses?"
