You guys are not helping. Here are the reasons why I'm resisting:

1) I need a 5-string bass.
2) I don't need another bass, because my two Bongos fulfill all of my requirements.
3) I'm saving up for a new car, 'cause my current ride has 155,000 miles on it.
4) My laptop is five years old and I need to replace it, too. And I'm not gonna buy some cheap-o crappy PC. I'm a Mac guy, I have standards, it's gonna be a MacBook Pro, and those cost a couple of grand.
5) I need to finish paying for my latest brand B amp purchase before the interest-free financing period ends next June.

Okay, okay, I know all of those are stupid, bogus reasons.

Here's the real reason:

6) I have absolute faith that BP is going to decree a BFR Bongo, that it will be something I CANNOT resist, and that I will HAVE to buy one or go insane. I know it's going to cost a lot. Therefore I need to save up for it.

THAT'S why.

:D

All good reasons. Ordinarily, I would join the "resistance is futile" crowd, because I LOVE my 30th, but with a toddler in the house and another on the way, I understand priorities. I also understand that as soon as there's a BFR Bongo, I'll be right there with you, so I'm trying to curb my spending a bit these days too.

Besides, if you have the means somewhere down the road, I'm sure you'll be able to find a 30th somewhere. Just don't come looking for mine. :D

This is not relevant, because if the Bongo shows up first there won't be any giant buildings left. :D:p
