How sweet would it be to shoot down someone suggesting a custom shop yet again in real time....but I'm going to give this suggestion a thumbs down. It will probably mean added resources, and I assume the mods have enough to do.

Hmmm...Mixed opinions, which is cool. I can understand both sides of the argument.
I just thought, you know, you come here, check out new posts/threads, and you have a few more minutes to spare, you go in a chat room and say g'day to whoever is in.
In real time.
Thats all

I'm all for it. If I'm at work and see one of you guys online, I'd love to kill some more time on here. You know...talking about Star Wars figures and stuff.

Luke in Bespin Fatigues that came with both blaster, and lightsaber is the greatest figure ever. Though IG88 is a close second.

I feel like without threads of conversations then everyone else who wasn't in on a 'chat' would be completely left out. Hard enough to keep up with things as it is!

can you all imagine Dizzy in a chat room throwing lefty insults in real time... let alone what he is going to do when he realizes that Luke's lightsaber is in his LEFT hand... no, no, no... we don't need a chat room. Even though I would be there... haha

We already have the forum, but i do think a live chat room would be cool, but we have MSN, Aim, well of course one that will be up day and day out, "Meebo" chat rooms sound like the idea.

I think it would need strict moderating - and there doesn't seem to be the resources to do this.
I have set up the equivalent in the past - "Spuds Xmas Party" threads when people are invited to log on at a preset time - a similar thing at pre set times might be an idea to throw into the "pot" for discussion?

Nah, would get very frustrating.

I mean imagine waiting all that time it'd take for guys like Lefty to reply while he's ringing his mates, family, fellow dullards and searching the web for advice on how to retaliate with any sort of half decent response !!!

:D
