I'm hoping it will be the LIII HH I have coming. In theory, though, I'd prefer an LIII with a mahogany body and a blue dawn finish. That would be awesome.

Steve Morse standard or Y2D with a unfinished roasted maple neck and a swamp ash body in green burst.

By the way, I know this is a bit off topic, but since people mentioned the Y2D, how come they don't make the Y2D with matching headstock anymore? I can't find them.

I guess people and stores just aren't ordering them that way.

How about this...

Natural finish maple-top on a rosewood body, all-rosewood neck BUT with a natural maple veneer for a matching headstock look?

For me it would be one of the following two:

The JP6/20th Silo hybrid but in trans blue with an all-rosewood JP neck and direct mounted original custom-wound pickups

or

Gold Roller with an all-rosewood JP neck and a tremolo

That sounds intriguing!
I'm even having a hard time picturing how it would look. We should have the mock-up guy make some of these dream-combinations come true :D

JP6 Gold Roller, that'd be something! :D
I think a Rosewood neck on pretty much everything makes things much more.. exclusive. I don't know why.
I can just imagine having my Dargie Delight 2 with a Rosewood neck, mmhmm....

Interesting!
All BFR Koa's come with Piezo and Gold Hardware though.

But the roasted maple neck sounds nice :D
I'm having a hard time deciding if I like the Rosewood neck or the Roasted Maple neck better. So hard to choose!
Probably depends on what finish on the rest of the guitar!

Hmm... An LIII with a solid Koa body and a scalloped solid rosewood AL neck with stainless steel 6100 frets would be wicked...

A mahogany Hardtail Axis with a quilted maple cap in trans black, a lone Seymour Duncan Alternative 8 bridge pickup with a chrome cover, rosewood neck with small EBMM dot inlays, and stainless steel frets. Yup that's it!
