I'd love to have a "Foggy" signature guitar, but due to the lifespan of Homo Sapien, - I just don't think I could wait that long for it !!!

On the other hand I'd like my signature guitar to be like an Albert Lee with SSS pick ups, but with an interchangeable pick guard with MM90's - cos I can't afford two !!!!!

Hey I'm up for an EBMMFOG!!!! Put me before the Razcaster.

I could design the whole thing.
Spud you wouldn't have to wait too long because BP, Dudley and friends would be in charge of the whole thing.

I've often thought about starting such a thread but didn't want to ruffle any feathers as each model is special in it's own way. Of course their's the business side of things too. They would never offer a model that takes the best of the others since it would take away the sales of the the other guitars.

But if I could make my own it would be as such:

The body would be like the Pet. But with a pick guard. The pickups would be an
H-S-H configuration. Simliar pups on the Silo or maybe the Morse. Of course there'd be piezo with a switch like the Pet and Luke. It would come with either the MM Vintage Trem of the one currently on the Pet.
Matching headstock would not be available. It would be an all maple neck with no rosewood option. Neck of choice would be either the Pet or Silo neck.
You could call it the FOG. :)
But since this guitar does not exist, then I'll take ANY of the current models!

To create a B2D signature model EBMM:

~ Take a Silhouette Special and make the body out of Mahogany.

~ Then remove the pickguard and direct-mount the pickups (two humbuckers, PAF Pro and FRED) to the body. Controls will be one volume, one tone, and a 3-way Axis switch. The tone knob would act as a push-pull coil splitter for both pickups to allow 6 sounds total.

~ Add an OFR Trem system, and make an option for the hardtail version like they have now.

~ Maple neck, EBONY fretboard. Dunlop 6105 frets. No dots, but a special inlay graphic of my design at the 12th fret. Keep the side markers. Schaller non-locking tuners.

There ya go!
