Hey guys,

i was just browsing through some videos on youtube and i came across a few from steve lukather.WOW! this guy is truly unbelievable and is massive guitar player.
Please pardon my ignorance as ive never really heard him play properly except from listening to some Toto tracks.
As most of you know im a massive petrucci fan and purchased a BFR afew months ago but after seeing these videos i am very impressed and would love to try out one of these guitars and see more of steve.

heres links to two videos of his,one of him in his early days playing&singing jimi hendrixs little wing and the other is a beautiful solo.my god his voice is savage aswell when singing little wing.

I'm pretty new to his stuff apart from all the radio hits, I picked up some Toto albums and they are outstanding. Don't know how I missed this guy in the 80's, but hey I can barely remember the 80's.

Truly an unbelievable talent.....He is one of my favorites, and love his guitars too. Got to get one myself (BFR Luke):D.

I first heard Luke in my late teens. Luke's playing showed me what the guitar was capable of (ie beyond basic chords and simple melodic stuff). Prior to that, I'd led a musically-sheltered life thanks to musically conservative parents and friends. Luke's playing inspired me to stretch my own playing, or at least try to. Had it not been for Luke, I'd probably be a drummer now!

Luke really is a great player, everything he plays sounds great. Just listened to Falling in Between Live cd in one sitting and loved every minute of it.

Can't wait to see him when he's performing tomorrow!
