Sorry to hear that John! It's been said before and it'll be said again, copyrights are protecting an outdated and seriously mismanaged distribution system.

I swim through thousands of covers and 90% aren't worth watching, and one by you gets taken down? Madness! The Hendrix camp should thank you for spreading the love, anyways, keep posting vids, you got all our support here!

Well I did get a follow up email from the Hendrix camp...
And yes it was because of the use of the original recording in the background
and that fact I tried to get every note like the original did not help me at all!

I understand 100% and respect there choice to take it down...
But I also see another side to it that it may have brought new fans to Jimi Hendrix..
You know younger players that may never have heard The Wind Cries Mary...


This new Video cover of Kenny Chesney was a dedication to a very sick little girl who asked me if I could cover her favorite song 'Better As A Memory"

So I did.

What a bunch of bullsh*t. Sorry, but playing guitar over/with a song does not justify any sort of punishment. They should see it as free marketing.
