Neil's new promo vid from OSN 2009. Interesting (and cool) that most of the close up shots are of him with his red axis - especially when he has a sig model with another manufacturer.

Very cool. Though I must correct you. That's not an Axis, It's a hard tail EVH. Which is extra cool.

I was at the show in Cleveland. Neil is a great player.
i was surprised when he came out with the EBMM EVH, because it's his old guitar. He went back to it after the deal on his signature model with Cort dissolved. All he used to use before his signature model was EVHs.
BTW the show was amazing, it's going to be interesting to see what he has coming out as far as a new signature model goes.

Neil was my guitar teacher. Yes, this is an EVH Hardtail.

PHENOMENAL PLAYER

Listen to the track he did with Jordan Rudess called, "Heavyocity".
The cd is called When Gravity Fails.

I believe Michael Anthony from Van Halen/Chickenfoot played bass on that song...can't remember.

I found an old clip of Neil rehearsing with the EBMM EVH hardtails here for the same show in 2002:

Cool video but I have to admit I'm not into the Xmas rock song genre very much.

Good player... never heard of him though.

Check out his live stuff on youtube, you're missing out, bro. Great player, check out the trio he had with Bobby Rock and Bill "The Buddha" Dickens, amazing!

Sorry but the christmas songs and Beethoven music on an electric guitar, I just can't take it!
It is comical at best!
Whatever guitar he's using won't change a thing to me.

I like the guy's music and agree that he is a phenomenal player. I also enjoy the fun he has while playing---none of this pretentious, serious rock star meglomania many people espouse.

I agree - the guy is mega talented. His OSN CD is in my regular holiday rotation...and what guitar player doesn't like 'I'm Alright'? ;):D

I see nothing wrong with it as Gary Hoey put out 2 shred Christmas albums years ago that I have. He seems like an excellent player and he also seems to be making a decent living. Cant ask for more than that.

I've been wondering why on earth he hasn't struck a signature deal with EBMM - look at his signature:

Cort-Neil-Zaza-NZS-2-2.jpg

Small dots, birdseye fretboard and neck, EBMM style truss rod, small headstock, zebra pickups, assymetrical neck profile, and the bridge is a Duncan Custom custom, which isn't too far away from an OEM Axis bridge pickup - why not just play an Axis hardtail?
