Yea man when we trace back this thread, you come up first in the line ...hahaha!! :)
So far there is 3...
But I honestly and seriously doubt this baby is leaving my hands.
Till the day they dig up the dirt and plant me.

Chances of finding one of these brand new... never on display... in a wrapper... is nearly impossible...
So I am guessing this was meant to be?
Just sweating the darn shipping travels at this point...
Hope she travels safely :D

Happy Holiday Season to ya! :)

Yea, My guess is the only time this baby re sells is when my son lists it for sale and I am 6 feet under dirt...pushing up daisys....hahaha!! :)

All (2 :D ) bfr rosewood basses I played sound and feel so good that I still can not understand why someone would let it go. I wouldn't.

Yeah, I know what you mean, at least two of my Stingrays (20th and 30th) are of that category as well. Love my DD1 too, and its a brilliant bass as well, but the other two are so close to my heart I could never dream of parting with them. Hope you find the same in this stunning BFR! Enjoy, and what a way to kick off the Holiday Season! :) Happy BFR Holidays! :D

Nice Score.....

I often wonder what will become of my collection when I pass away. Someone will probably get some awesome deals.

Thank you :D
Well sadly as the saying goes " you cannot take it with you"....
I often think about that as well.
I am thinking I will leave my son my log in to this site and talk bass...and leave him the fair values my gear could be expected to sell quickly for....Then let him keep what he might want from it and then handle selling it? Or give the info to the Mrs. whichever?
I would want to pass the gear onto fellow forum members on either site before letting it go to the masses.

nice :) just before the weekend too so you have plenty of fumbling time too :)

we want pictures... and review.. asap ;);)

MrM

hahaha ok got it.
In the middle of painting rooms in the house all weekend.
Doubt time will allow for much play time :(
But It will surely be a HUGE relief when it arrives and is inspected and acclimated to room temps :D
Today is garbage day, so every time I hear a truck, I run to the window thinking it is UPS....too funny.
Will be sure to get new pics of the last few EBMM basses to replace the ones from the sales threads or store pics...
Time has been hard to come by lately...

How do you take care of the neck on these. Can or do you oil the fingerboard, or the neck?

This I want to know too.

I would have to GUESS ya oil the fretboard like you would any other rosewood fretboard? I highly doubt you do anything to the actual neck however....it is like that amazing finish they put on the maple neck I THINK? And would be left alone.
All guesses of course :) hahaha!! I am a rosewood neck newbie.
I plan on calling my friend at EBMM customer service and asking what the deal is on these ....If I get info, will post it up.
