Every guitar that we make has an order attached to it. The wait with a guitar is the unintended negative of buying a product from someone who only can make so many instruments in a day. We have a decision....do we continue to innovate or wait until there are no orders. Believe it or not we have so many more models done and are very exciting but cannot release them because we are so far behind

If you ordered a Monarchy and the dealer you ordered it from did not already have one on order it is probably not going to be delivered untill January or Feb.

Thanks for reply and the info, if a dealer ordered in December when would it likely be delivered by and do you have a priority list ? Ie local market then international or is it first in first served ?

Btw good to see that musicmans in demand , obviously from producing good products, though it sounds like you could expand the business to meet the supply / demand equilibrium and therefore more money :)

Mark I am going to turn the other cheek to your comments once again.....first you called us out for not planning and now its not expanding fast enough. I tell you what....tell me how to do it since you obviously think its an easy deal....its really hard to be bigger and make the same quality. Its really hard to be located in the second most expensive housing market in the USA when you compare it to the median income. (It wasnt when we started) There is no more land for us to expand to....We cant get employees easily and train them...thats only the tip of what seems so easy to you....maybe toss us the benefit of the doubt. But really do you think we arent trying to make instruments we have sold? DO you think that we havent committed alll of our margin into research and development to allow us to grow? Do you know that two years ago we barely had enough orders to keep the factory running but I paid them anyways?

Hey , I never said it was easy? However I have only been asking questions relating to when I may be able to get my hands an instrument that I am extremely excited about.., I would suggest I am not the only one and I am sensing a little negativity in your comments, I appreciate that most business environments are not 'easy' however you stated you have back orders till Jan 2018 that seems like there is high demand for your products and 'most' companies would look at ways to get there products out to meet this demand. You can run 'your' company however you like , I am just looking it from one of 'your' customers ...

I run a small business and can only imagine all that goes into an operation like BP's... it is your life, and expanding at a rate that makes sense is a huge consideration. How many other companies have forums where the CEO actively participates and addresses topics like this? We are lucky to get as much of a glimpse inside as we do here.

When your guitar arrives you will have an amazing instrument!

Agreed, I initially didn't know 'big poppa' was 'mr ball', and primarily just looking at it from a business economic stand point. I understand there are many factors involved with expansion but none the less I am sure any and all feed back from customers (positive or negative) would be appreciated, as any 'good' company would, to maintain and improve its customer service and ultimately increase its market share and profitability...

I have no doubt the monarchy will be the best guitar I own and am VERY excited and look forward to its arrival!

I remember when I pre ordered a new release in the past:
OMG we had a lot of fun here on the forum.
I am sure I said things that may have .... not been appreciated so much by some.
There was a party for the release of the guitars on the other side of the country. I considered going.
I did get a T-shirt form the event (Just thinking of that shirt makes me smile uncontrollably)
It took a long time. It just did. what ever, I love the guitar and I got one of the first ones.

What are you looking forward to in your new guitar?
What color did you order?
