Well...

lets just say that GAS has never hit me so hard in my entire life... When I saw this guitar at NAMM I fell in love with it and have to have it (or one of them). I immediately contacted Pete DuBaldo and setup a purchase.

These guitars do not come stock with the DiMarzio Pickups; however, Pete took good care of me and this one got the works before she shipped out. DiMarzio Transition upgrade, Highly polished frets totally sucky top...

It was a tough choice as Pete got two and I got first pick since no-one had claimed either at that point. I think he has one more with a fairly sucky top left... ;)

I thought they had the transitions as stock? According to the video with luke playing them they do or have things moved on since then?

Peter, I'm glad it arrived safely and thank you again for the order!

The LK100D model came with DiMarzio and was at a higher price point. The new model is the LK100, does not have DiMarzio pickups (from the factory), and is at a lower price point.

the LK100D did/does have the DiMarzio's in it... they moved away from the DiMarzios for this model to bring in the maple top and roasted maple neck. Subsequently they also lowered the MSRP by a few hundred as well...

but it's an easy swap and your right back to the DiMarzios with the extras and it's killer
