I've owned the LIII SSS in Olive Gold, BFR Hazelburst and "standard" Bodie Blue.

The Olive Gold was, to my liking, far superior tonewise. The smoothness from the rosewood neck perfectly balanced the drive of the pickups.

And the Olive-Gold finish is just mesmerizing! Nice pair of balls!

Thanks! The LIII HH had already supplanted all my other guitars as a go to. Now I am not sure how to choose between them!

Nice score! I really wanted a LIII HSS but opted for the HH when it came out.

They are both tone monsters. Paired up with a Matchless, a Timmy, and some delay/reverb (all courtesy of Helix), they both conjure some of the most inspiring tones I could imagine.
