I just saw this on a music store website as on backorder. I can't find it on the official EBMM website....did someone jump the gun?

This special edition Ernie Ball Music Man BFR Bongo 5HH bass is beautifully accented with black pickguard, black plastic parts and chrome plated hardware making this a very desirable instrument. Its high-gloss Dual HH ash body meets a flame-roasted maple neck and maple fingerboard with exquisite hand-fitted black binding. The Bongo comes standard with 18-volt, 4-band preamp, nickel frets, and is limited to just 57 pieces worldwide.

Yea.....I own that bass. So I'm curious if they are getting new BFRs but didn't get they description yet....but posted the photos online. Like a test post for internal use before its release.

Regardless, I think that's a good lookin bass!!

I don’t know what is going on. It was on Zzounds. But guess what? Last Friday I ordered it and Sunday I received it. I was a little worried because of the description saying it was cherry red(which I would still have been happy with). It was sparkle white, drop dead gorgeous with a highly figured maple neck. The description said 57 made but the certificate on mine said 60 were made. I do wish the correction would be made on the website though. When I type in the serial number on the website it says it was manufactured June 29 2021. Now there is a new BFR stingray on zzounds. I’m just curious as to whether my bongo has an ash body being that the typed description was not correct. It feels a good deal lighter than my stingray special 5, and that one does have an ash body

You'll have to wait I guess, until the weekend when I'm guessing the EBMM web site will have the correct specs listed. Congrats on your bass.
