Welcome to Day 2 of my annual New Year's New Guitar Days (NYNGD)!
Hi all! Thanks for the kind words and comments on yesterday's NYNGD #2021-1!
If you're not familiar or didn't stop by yesterday, here's what this is all about: Every year, I am a slacker about keeping my Guitar Gallery up to date... So, as a fun holiday thing, let's launch a guitar in the Guitar Gallery each day as we ring in 2022! Standard caveat: In the past I've received PM's about my collection and whether I play all of these guitars. My answer is here!
Alright... shut the heck up Jeff and let's get going with the next guitar!
Now Christmas has passed, so I'm in a blue mood -- so let's continue with blue guitars! This amazing Luke III in Pacific Blue Sparkle is part of a limited run for Sweetwater and man is it awesome. It's a blue sparkle with a darker blue burst. Chrome hardware, awesome roasted maple neck, matching headstock, and the new Luke EBMM custom-wound humbuckers. Looks awesome, so much so that I also have a Majesty 6 in the same finish on order with Chris at Sweetwater! Sounds REALLY amazing, too. Some good pieces of wood went into this body and neck combination!
Man, this finish is sooo amazing. You really owe it to yourself to check these out at Sweetwater. The Pacific Blue Sparkle run includes LIII, Majesty, JP15, Cutlass, Sabre, StingRay, Silo, plus Bongo and StingRay basses. If you want to order, work directly with Sweetwater Sales Engineer Chris Leonard ([email protected]) -- he's a solid guy and will make sure you're taken care of. Tell him I sent you!
So... are you blue, too?
I'll be back tomorrow with another NYNGD: New Year's New Guitar Day!
Thanks for looking everyone!
Past Days:
The new EBMM message board limits the number of characters in a post so I can't put a list of direct links in the post. Click here for an index.
(The back story in case you're new to my NYNGD: For the past couple of years I've done a fun thing that most of you I think enjoyed, and I thought I would do it again this year. Every year, I am a slacker about keeping my Guitar Gallery up to date... So, as a fun holiday thing, let's launch a guitar in the Guitar Gallery each day leading up to New Years Eve! In the past I've received PM's about my collection and whether I play all of these guitars. The same question came up during my NYNGD posts a few years ago and my answer was pretty detailed and well thought-out, so please check it out here!)
(Also, in case anybody gets any funny ideas -- these guitars are not at my house. They are all in my very secure and alarmed studio facility. I usually only have two guitars floating around the house...)
