Rosewood Axis issues HELP!!

Hi. I have a 2010 Rosewood Axis that has been a tuning nightmare. Plays amazing, tone unreal ( I’ve owned 2 previous for decades), but kept slipping out and out. Brand new Gotoh tremolo and nut. Intimate exact replacement from what my luthier found out. I’ve had him and two other set it up and anytime I tremolo the bar it slightly sharp. Changed strings, check for damage and still can’t figure it out. Does anybody have any info on these Rosewood models that maybe could help me or can I actually send it to Ernie Ball and have them look at it? Thank you in advance. I don’t wanna sell it.

Did you contact EBMM customer service about it? Sure they can advise you. Also about sending in if necessary

I did, but it’s not under warranty and they don’t service anything but. Really sucked to hear. My luthier thinks it’s a neck joint issue. Sending it back to him in Houston. This is my third and it hasn’t been good since I got it. The first 2 a 1998 Axis and a 2006 Axis were unstoppable. Never lost a step but was forced to sell during covid to survive

That’s a sad story to be forced to sell your beloved guitars, sorry to hear.
Difficult issue then. You might have seen this recent thread? Where they talk about the same issue? Axis SS tuning issue

I don't see how. But there is this possibility too...

With Floyd Rose equipped guitars the locking nut can cause the string to go sharp if it is not well installed. As yours a replacement Gotoh unit, that's may be the case. Here's how it works...

Because the strings are locked at the nut there is a permanent tension pulling on the nut from behind that can never equalize to match the playing portion of the string. When we use the tremolo and the playing portion of the strings goes flat, the high tension behind the nut pulls on the nut and it can shift position or tilt. It may not easily return to its original position when the bridge does. That small shift in position of the nut is now pulling on the playing length of the strings, causing them to go sharp.

When you got the new Gotoh, is it also beveled on the front edge? If not, it could cause the knife edge to ride up the posts, causing everything to go sharp.

Have you also examined the posts for nicks or damage, or were they also replaced?

Turns out it was a crooked neck socket. Will probably happen was in their automation part of Ernie Ball guitars when the machine was put in the body down there might’ve been a speck of wood under it that kept the body tilted at just a little bit of an angle probably even just a 30 second of an inch, and that was enough to tilt the neck. So when the CNC machine came in and read it, it didn’t read the body is tilted. It just read it straight and went to cut it. The the pole pieces and the Gotoh Tremelo are brand new and fantastic so that wasn’t the issue we had to take the whole Guitar apart and really dive into it to figure this out. Really a crazy thing that’s very rare. Thank God it wasn’t the neck and we could fix
