That's a hard decision, but I have to go with Candy Red.

Candy Red. If the Dargie Delight didn't come about thats what my Luke would of been..

ES. I just love that color. Looks phenonmenal on the JP and the Silo and heck...just about anything. I think that the JP may be too much real estate for CR to my eyes. I love it to death on the Luke, though. If I get a regular Luke (i.e., not the 20th Ann. Silo hybrid), I think it's going to be CR.

I played both of them, switching back and forth for over an hour - I wound up getting the Candy Red - it simply felt better, and sounded ever so slightly bit more ballsy than the Egyptian Smoke.

Anyways, here's the axe that's gonna hold me over at gigs until my Dargie Delight rolls in - I think the neck could have used a little more figure to it, though.... :

Great-looking axe. I don't think you could have made a mistake with either one.

I was going to say, go for the Red as well.

Smoke is cool, but there's just not a lot of life to it IMO. I know it's not 'just' grey, but it's mostly greyish, no matter how you slice it.

Red is about as far from that as you can get. ;)

Good choice, Pete!

So should I be expecting this one? :D
