(In no order other than chronological)
1. Doing 120+ in a few places on the way to Dallas (hey, it was fun for me!)
2. The initial hang at the bar at the Hyatt, seeing a lot of familiar Open House faces.
3. Me guiding three taxi's to Love and War via Google with my cellphone.
4. Checking out the Koa and Walnut Silo's and the black Flamed Al for the first time.
5. The food and the great conversation (thanks for the chat Eggman!
).
6. The group talk on Saturday and hearing about the BFR's and '07 LE's.
7. BP letting me plug in the Koa and Walnut Silo's for a little bit before they moved all the gear. Thanks so much for that Sterling!!
8. Visiting with Dudley and watching them swap coils out of the prototype wah for Luke to use that night. Also had a really nice chat with his friend who's name I cannot remember, he explained a lot of what they were testing to me (for the new wah). It was really fascinating, fortunately, my rudimentry knowledge of electrical engineering is still in tact.
9. Talking mountainbikes and motorcyles with Jon and Maddog (I don't know your real name!
) for a good hour+ in the bar at the Hyatt. I think I may have abused them with some of the hillarious stories about me hurting myself and laughing about it.
10. Talking to the Chef at the Hyatt, who is also from New Orleans, and having someone to relate to about all the events there. Oh, and the food too.
11. I was really flattered by how many people talked to me about my band, the YouTube video and wished us well. Thanks to everyone that grabbed a CD and takes the time to listen. It really means a lot to me and the guys.
12. Dave LaRue's solo bit with John drumming! Good lord, that was definately the highlight of Saturday for me!! I almost fell over after that.
And lastly...
13. Almost 2am last night, Sterling was taking off (as were most of us) and he paused for a sec, put his arm around me and said "So Jeffrey, did you have a good time?" My reply? "Hell yeah I did. When's the next one?"
As always: great people, great music, AMAZING intruments and a good time had by all.
That seems to follow EBMM around.
