HAHAHAHAHAHA :D :D :D

resist the temptation my friend!just listen to that 5 string 20th calling you! Its saying....buy me!

but surely there must be someone on here who wants this beautiful bass? Dont make him turn to ebay. I recently sold $500 worth of goods on ebay only to find out it was a nigerian scammer

make sure you keep in contact with me eggman to let me know whats happening with this bass!

The thing that kills me is these 30th rays look SOO damn classy. Infact, I'd call them an instant classic, and I think anyone who parts with one now is SERIOUSLY gonna regret it. Maybe not 10years from now, but I honestly believe that in 20 years...these basses might just be the most desired stingray of this decade. God, they are so hot. The color scheme is really a work of art. Kudos all around!

...If I didn't need to diversify my meager MM collection with a DD sterling and DD bongo, i'd have jumped on one of these. They look timeless, and I like them better than the gold on gold on black limited ones.

Surprising that there has been no interest in the 30th.

After being in Dallas and watching all the Bongos being played - I might be interested in trading the 30th for a Bongo of some sort. I have a 4H already.

Anyone?

That is the lightest 30th that I've heard of at only 9.2 lbs as weighed by yours truly. What is wrong with you people??? Where' s Dave J at??

right now trying to sell a bass on this board is like trying to get a gig at an Iraqui Debutante's Ball.

Hang on to that 30th...I know that you have basses coming but they arent coming for another three months or ao.....

The people selling the 0ths are giving them away rightnow and it has to be the borttom of the market. The neck balnks alone are 90 buck my cost...regular ones are 9 bucks.

Im sayin that if you want ot buy one it is the best time and if you are selling it is the worst time.

I'm keeping mine, but I wish I'd had a shot at that 9.2 pounder.

not to beat a dead horse, but is there REALLY that much weight difference amongst the same basses that people actually care about getting the *slightyl* lighter one. I cant imangine the differnce would be more than like an 8th of a pound in real life.

bathroom scales arent meant to weigh isntruments, t hey are meant to weigh people. I just dont understand the discrepancy shown here in the "zOMG THIS ONE IS LIGHTER" category.

someone please explain.

a pound on a bass is like twentythousandths on a set up....noticeable and most of the forumites are wimps.

so, most of the people here are wimps, huh? I never understood the reasoning behond saying "this 30th is lighter than that one" they arent THAT much different.

I really didnt think that would be a noticeable concern. Oh well, guess Im tougher than the rest of the peeps here
:p

Heck, my Thumb 5 is heavier than that 30th and it has a smaller body! Im like the Hulk when it comes to lugging heavy basses :D

BP - thanks for the reply. You are right - it may not be the right time to sell. Not much interest and some fairly low offers.

I have a couple other basses to sell - maybe I will concentrate on those first. Looks like I am becoming an EBMM collector!!!

BP - my thanks to you for being such a great host in Dallas. It was a pleasure to meet you. I hope our paths will cross again.

ya i dont care about the weight thing - but my shows are around 45 minutes and some of these dudes play 4 hours a night. i could see an extra pound slung over my neck getting pretty annoying after a couple hours
