My first EBMM bass arrived today - Stingray-4 HH 2006 LE.:D :D What a beauty. I call it "Bond". This is only the second bass I've owned since I bought my first one in 1980, so what a huge treat for me. Nashman + Music Man = Ya Man! ... and a big Woo Hoo for BP. Productivity at work this afternoon for me is 0.

This bass is so nice, the Dudes at the Music Store seemed sad to see it go, even though I was walking out the front door with it only an hour after it arrived through the back door. I tracked the UPS shipment on the Internet and was on the phone to the Music Store within 10 minutes of delivery. I drove home with it like one of my newborn sons was in the back seat just coming home from the Hospital for the first time!

I took a few pictures today, one in my backyard before I even played a note ... and one with my relatively new rig. I like how my Eden rig and Ray are both black/gold. Picture quality is not the best, but I tried! I have never posted pictures either, so put a few on photobucket ... hope the links work!

I love a lot of things about this bass ... the quality, smooth/fast neck, finish, hardware and ohhh that tone. Between the HH Ray and my rig, tone options are huge.

The 6-month wait was tough - glad it's over and my hands on this very fine instrument.

In all seriousness, I have to say that the 2005 Ltd Ed, the 30th Stingray, and the 2006 Ltd Ed cases are some of the very nicest bass cases I've ever had!!

I don't mean to take anything away from how great the basses are, but when the case is special too, it really puts them over the top.

Nice work EB!

You are so right. I was really impressed with the case also. It makes sense to put a bass of this quality in a nice case ... it's all part of the package.
