They're suposed to sound different, designed specifically for the position they're at. IMO
It is the limitation of existing switching and wiring. When we make the first position parrallel the remaining 4 positions dont sound as good as if we start with position one is series.
We are close to a solution and expect the new wiring/switch to make its debut in the SR5 20th Anniversary. From there we will make the new combo that starts with parrallel then series and then 3 other great combos
so this means that stingray4 hh&hs are also wired in series? because it would be imposible to wire it parallel. am i correct?

how is it possible that stingray4 hh&hs are parallel if big poppa mentioned this? if it is possible in a stingray4 hh&hs as you have said than why not possible in a stingray5 and sterling?
dont forget the alnico pickup in the 20th sr5
You guys may get a little SR5 20th torture later today! I may just get my mitts on the first prototype today...

HAHA, I must have forgotten after I played the prototypes.....the sr5 20th is one tough SOB. So much punch and grease in the tone.
Gonna Have To Wait Until We Get The Finished Product...should Be About 2 Weeks.
