1st - i hope everyone is doing well. It's been a while since i've been to the forum.
2nd - I play an sr5. I usually use D'adario or Ernie Ball strings (.45-.130) This past weekend, i was recording and for whatever reason, i used a DR set. Now DR's set is .45-.125 instead of the .130. I noticed that on my G string (the .45) starting on about the eleventh fret that the higher i went up the neck, the note was dramatically sharper. I tune to 440 and have a pretty low action set. Has anyone experienced this before? I could have posted this thread in the strings section, but there are more bass players in here.
