I actually bought an axis with a bad neck, well I dont think it was MM's fault it was the storage of the guitar, but I loved the color and top so I sent it to MM and they replaced the neck free of charge, kept me in the loop of where the guitar was, replaced the pups for some reason and I had the guitar back within weeks, to my front door - on a side note they also replaced the body of my silo when I found a stress crack that IM sure was my fault, so hats off, did I mention that when I replaced my pickguard they even sent me new screws to match free of charge, I also wanna mention that at the last few namm shows I attended BP and Dargin were extra friendly to me when I introduced myself as lock-ny from the forum, and they were both extremely busy selling guitars, so that story seems like BS to me, plus I have never called dan and not gotten him on the phone or AJ for that matter, I even spoke to brian about doing an ad at the paper I was working for thus my being at all the namm shows - screw this guy, you cant make everyone happy all the time BP dont sweat it - Russ

My my my my......you must not have read the "Freedom of Speech" thread on the bass side.....so....here it goes.

GuitarTommy....I am publicly calling you a LIAR on the forum for the rest of the world to see......you are keyboard commander with no sense of integrity. I question your manhood because a man would not LIE about something like this. You are probably crying (need a tissue...see my sig) because your F**der Strat Pak was set up by your pimply faced punk buddy sitting next to you as you typed that garbage. Go back to your little place under the bridge and try to bully some billygoats. You can't bully us here...not me anyway. Try me...please. So, here is why I am calling you a NO GOOD, GUTLESS, YELLOW BELLIED, SNAKE LOW LIFE LIAR:

Point #1 - EBMM does not deliver straight to anyone's house. The axe goes to the dealer. You are caught in a LIE.

Point #2 - EBMM did not take the bass back....because, they never delivered it to you. They don't ship direct to home addresses. You are caught in a LIE.

Point #3 - EB Customer Service Sucks as stated by you. No, you do. You are caught in a LIE.

Point #4 - Twisted Neck and sent to the factory and not fixed. Bullsh!t...I know IF your dumb a$$ sent it back, Jon would have fixed it and would have gone the extra mile. I know that to be fact as I know you are LYING to be a fact.

Personally, I don't believe you have a Luke, GuitarTommy...seems more like you are a flute player (no disrespect to flute players), but my reasoning is this...you blow....so from here on....you are now FluteTommy.

FluteTommy, you wouldn't happen to be from Boston would you? Not that I have a problem with Boston...just curious. Since you have such major issues with EB and what not, maybe you can tell us (this is called stepping up and being a man) what city do you live in.

FluteTommy, I have a suggestion on how to fix this....go to your mommy's car...get the crowbar out...and remove your head from your rectal region.

FluteTommy...it has been nice chatting with you. FluteTommy if you feel like being a man after taking your Flintstone Vitamins and want to post more garbage....PM me first. That way...we can save the rest of the world from your sniveling, crying and "try to get one over" garbage.

Bye FluteTommy.....

OWNED!!!

My "me too comment" ... I've had several dealings with customer service, and they've always treated me like royalty. As for GuitarTommy's story, it sounds pretty damn bogus to me.

(And I'd love to have Koogs as a neighbour as well!)

Can anyone say "Troll"? This guy's yule log is definitely not firm. I bet his Hanukah bush is waxed though.

Got those jewels from Luscious himself. Well, I may be paraphrasing and what not. :)

Guys
THere is a story here. He did buy a Luke. We could have made a mistake and shipped the wrong item to him. The difference is in the delivery......

Something still seems way out-of-whack with the claim of being told (essentially) "tough ****!" by EBMM Customer Service...just doesn't fit.

As it's been said *many times over* here on this very site...wood is wood, and is subject to flaws/imperfections/whatnot, no matter who the manufacturer...

...just give EBMM's customer service a fair chance to deal with your problem.

That's not asking too much.

YMMV.

lighten' up frances!!

I for one will personally vouch for Dan as I happen to be friends with the man. If you have read anything about him on the boards here, you will have seen that he strives for customer satisfaction. Don't you think that you should have asked to speak with someone else at EBMM if you weren't satisfied instead of coming off half cocked and slagging him on the net!! Gee and on your first post, too! You owe the man an apology. EBMM stands behind their quality instruments. Whatever has happened, I'm sure that they will make right so long as the actual problem was made by them. Again, EBMM is a company that cares!! Ok, I'll shut up for now.

Whatever the actual story turns out to be, we shall see.

What we do know is this.

We've all seen instances of the company (and every individual I can think of within the company) going above and beyond in situations where it really wasn't an obligation to do so.

Many of us know Dan and realize his MO is not quite "Hah! We screwed you!" and then running off, laughing like Snidely Whiplash. Dan has always been responsive to people with questions, problems, etcetera, for as long as I've been on this forum.

But BP says this guy bought a Luke - okay. We have one nugget of information, albeit a small one. I fully expect that things are not like they were portrayed in the original post because, well, there's a history here of things like that not actually happening.

So anyway, let it rest, we'll see if our original poster comes back to view his handiwork, but meanwhile, if you guys can control your urges (not likely but I remain hopeful), let this thread sit and let's see what comes of it.

I know what I expect and I can certainly see that you agree.

1. Great first post:)
2. How is it working for F****er??:D
3. Things can happen in every company, but that does sound too strange to have happened at EBMM.
