I have recently moved to a different house, and I am now even closer (geographically) to Brighton Music Center.. the larger of their 2 stores.
I have been a customer of this store for at least 20 years. They are an Ernie Ball dealer, but not MusicMan. I believe they were an MM dealer in the past, because I seem to have a faint memory of seeing the MM EVH guitars on the wall in that store.. (although it may have been the subsequent Wolfgangs).

I stopped in today, and the owner (Jim) happened to be in which is rare because he tends to spend more time at the other location these days. I talked to him about MusicMan guitars and basses and he actually seemed interested. He doesn't really carry any guitars in the MM price point, and I know it's a struggle for him to have guitars in this price range hanging out in inventory for any length of time. I mentioned this subject to him a few years ago when I was in the market for my Petrucci and he didn't seem as receptive. I told him about the Dargie Delight's and mentioned that I have a Bongo on order.

Next I offered to bring some of my MM guitars down for him to check out, and told him a little about the forum. So, I hope I can work it a bit and maybe get him to look into carrying MM instruments. I also described the upcoming Wah pedal and talked up the EB Guitar Polish since I was buying his only remaining bottle.

Jim's a real stand-up guy, and I hope if he's going to NAMM I can convince him to stop over at the EBMM booth and check out your latest MM masterpieces. I would only be too happy to surrender my hard-earned cash to him for future MM purchases!

Thanks for reading.

I'm glad when I moved to Vegas I immediately found a great store that carries EBMM and also has an excellent staff. Good job in spreading the EBMM love and hopefully you can get him to start carrying our favorite instruments

Pug, I'd also like the name of Vegas stores which carry MM. And, if you find yourself in the Kingman, AZ area and would like to hook up, let me know. You'd practically drive past my house on 93.

Wow, everyone is out in full force here demanding EBMM Vegas info:D

So far, I've checked out two of the three EBMM dealers in Vegas. Pat's Desert Music is awesome. I brought Keith (KBaim) there and introduced him to Larry (aka Beetlejuice) great tech with tons of industry related tales. Last time I was there they had a couple of Pet's and I believe one was autographed (the auto-ed guitar might even be mystic dream)

The Guitar Center on Flamingo has a few EBMM's as well including, a delicious Rosewood Axis, and the guys there are great. I have been giving them the speech about how incredible the MM90's are on my AL and sooner or later I will bring it in for them to check out. One of the first GC's I've been to where they treat you with respect and not as if you're some emo-punk kid, although that could be because I'm showing a lot of gray:eek:

There is another store I have yet to check out in Henderson called AJ's Music. I will be hitting there next week and see what the scoop is and will gladly leave a review for you folks.

I would also like to extend an open invitation to all forumites who happen to visit Las Vegas. Please PM me and we can get together to jam or whatever. Even though I have only been here for about 6 months, I love this city and would be happen to give a fellow forumite the 10 cent tour. ;) BP, I'll have the Greyhounds waiting for ya :D

+1 for the GC on Flamingo. When I last visited they had a great selection of EBMM guitars, and the Rosewood Axis looked very tasty indeed!
