*sigh*.

Not one of the 37 POSITIVE things I said get any credit. We all see what we want to see, I guess.

I removed everything I said immediately, apologized for any unintended offense, and after all that you're still hitting me. After you said you'd drop the thread.

Please don't put words in my mouth. I'm as allergic to that as you are to photos of the competition.

I did NOT compare you to those other guys. Nor did I say that I don't like figured maple. Nor did I in any way suggest what you should or should not do. Just the opposite.

How many times, and in how many ways, do I have to say that I'm on your side?

Please end this.

Thanks.

This is just too much. It's bass porn. I'm beginning to toss around thoughts in my head about whether or not my Bongo's been built yet and if I could get this baby instead. We need a drooling smiley icon.

The body really looks so sleek. Is it skinnier than a regular Stingray 5?** It looks even more Sterling than Stingray 5. The "hips" are still there but less pronounced.

EDIT: ** It definitely has a sleeker body. So what's it gonna take for you guys to make a less blinged out version of this in regular solid ash and bridge so that Sterling 5 is finally out and affordable for us regular people? Puhhhhhhleeeeeaze do it.

I'm a little late to the party here but still; that's one beautiful bass. It's absolute class. A+!!! Cool about the bridge-thing too.:) :)

i gotta say, normally I think a bass looks best in those fancy EBMM photos (like the ones posted in this thread) but this axe looked drop dead amazing in those regular pics people took at NAMM.

What does BFR stand for?

Scott, BFR is Ball Family Reserve. A chance for you and I to own a one of a few just like the artists that maybe we don't even like would get from EB.
:D

The BFR I have seen so far is past in pretty than any aritist I have seen holding.

So then you can own a bass like that which the artists that you maybe don't even like own, and maybe the aforementioned artists that maybe you don't even like will also not like you either because now you own one of those basses. Is that what you mean?

:D

What a great looking bass! That is too cool about the original bridges. I always wanted to get an original "50" SR5 bass and was lucky enough to find one last year.

I find it odd that you call your boyfriend Stanky. :p

Well, if it involves basses, I occassionally whip out that name. When I first started posting (ie TODAY), I didn't know how particular everyone was using real names. If it's on here, I might as well call him Stanky...besides, he loves the name (or at least I think he does ;) )
