We got attacked and flamed because of misinformation......no body wants to say anything?

THe quote I got from my friendly guitar emprium is a lot better than Knox got initially. It IS still a whole standard Luke above what the US is paying, but better 1 whole Luke rather than 2. And I suspect it's a special consideration quote as I've bought a LOT of stuff from them.

It's a huge stretch of the finances and I really, really, REALLY shouldn't..........but *wibble* Bahama Blue *wibble*

Still considering it. If I do stop posting, it means I've ordered it and am in a black bag in the freezer after my better half found out....

We have to pay $1500 more than the US for the Luke and $1600 more for the JP. Better than $3000 I suppose. And you did a blue you swines.....can I resist?

I think I'm sitting this one out  . I don't know. I'm really conflicted.

I was a bit conflicted too, though more for personal reasons than anything else I suppose.

Maybe I'll get lucky and get quilts, maybe I'll get really nice flames and just live with it (or sell them and try again! lol :D).

We'll see. It's 50/50 at this point and I'm okay with that. :)

I know what you mean. That's what's holding me back. If the Luke had a piezo and I knew I would get a quilt, I'd have my money down by now.

You know what's crazy? I was super gung-ho on the piezo stuff when I got my JP7's but it turns out that I just don't use it much if ever.

I thought for sure I'd use it all the time! Ah well. I guess it's good for me to have the option for the future. :D

It would give me an excuse to buy another Luke though. When asked by the better half why I had another blue guitar almost exactly the same as the last one (but prettier) I could reply "because this one has the magic piezo fairies installed in it honey".

IS this deja vu or groundhogs day thread...no piezo on the luke and guitars are more expensive in UK and we cannot guarantee quilt or flame...(just the same as when we made those whats his name guitars in the early 90's)

Really? That's the way it was with what's his name's guitars? I guess that's kind of what I believed on some level. I never even thought about the option of having quilt vs. flame until the Y2D came out.

--it was an option offered only for a few years, and recently!
