Yup, I just updated the available list (see my signature line beleow) and added a Sterling HS with matching headstock as well and marked my last Albert Lee sold.

I pulled the ol'switch-a-roo and canceled my DD Bongo purchase, and told them I wanted a 2007LE bongo instead. The dealers eyes turned to dollar signs, so there was no problem at all with the swap!

Sounds like the Dargie Bongos are last on the production schedule?

I think they're in the middle somewhere.. I haven't seen any DD Petrucci's yet, or Silo's.

I toyed with the idea that my Dargie Bongo 4H might show up around my birthday (this coming Monday), but instead my wife had an accident which destroyed her car yesterday. Thankfully, she was not injured.. so I'm thrilled for that, and that's all that really matters. I am a little bummed though because it probably nuked my chances of pulling off a BFR Petrucci purchase for the time being...
..and the fact that we just stuck $750 into that car last Saturday for a new fuel pump makes me a little crazy.

But material things are ultimately low priority, and I still have a Dargie coming (which was prepaid in full, thank goodness!) so life is good.

I don't want to derail this thread except to say thanks Ben and Ritch (and I know the rest of you would say the same, so thanks!).

Now back to the topic... DARGIE DARGIE DARGIE

Man, I can't wait to plug that Bongo into my board and record some tracks!

Maybe my Bongo 4H fretless will be first. It must take at least a little more time to put all those frets in and polish them off

1. Glad your wife is okay. Sucks about the fuel pump, too. I had to replace an alternator two days before trading my fiancee's car a couple of years ago. Good times.

2. My birthday is Tuesday. But, you're older. :p

3. I, too, was hoping my Dargie 5H would show up near my birthday--especially since I'm going in the studio next weekend. Oh, well--the other two dargies will have something to make fun of the new guy with since he'll be all pimped with his martini inlays. "Yeah, kid--nice shirt. When ya gonna get a gig?" :D
