i hate to say it, but you might have been born on the wrong side of the world.
it's true, EBMM products are very expensive on the opposite side of this planet!
The cheapest thing to do is to spend about the cost of one EBMM bass on a plane ticket to the states. Then, all you have to do is find a way to stay here...it's not that hard..everyone does it!

Then all your cheaper EBMM dreams can come true!

Maybe you should try to get one used on the net, that will be more affordable as a knew one. Hope your dream will come true.

(Or ask Lord Bongo, he's got a bunch of those which are not getting played...:D )

Asking for charity for the essentials of life...clothing, food, shelter, medical care, emergency relief...that makes sense to me. And yes, I do donate to charity.

Asking for charity for a luxury item (and though I sometimes think of my bass as necessary for my mental health and happiness, it IS a luxury item)...sorry, but I don't think so. Nice try.

"Poor" is a relative term. You've got enough money to afford an OLP, a computer and an Internet connection. That makes you much wealthier than about a billion and a half people on the planet.

Hey, I could really use a new Porsche. Anyone wanna give me one?

Oh, and a new MacBook Pro. That would be sweet.

I have an old 1987 Porsche 924S racecar that I need hauled away from my driveway...it has no fenders, the roof cut off, lots of bondo, no engine or suspension or anything more than red paint and sheet metal and kind of still looks like a Porsche...oh, and i'll throw in some leaky 944 radiators and busted doors as well...I will not charge you a thing, just haul it away...:p

I don't know what it is really like on the other side of the world but here I still need to work to get by and I donate what I can... $20 here and there...I donated my old Ibanez Soundgear (good bass) to a worthy cause but that was for a music program...

ah... macbook pros are nice... ;)

though sometimes i wished i got a macbook instead and saved the extra money and get a stringray 5 instead of a sub 5

I must say I'm enjoying my MacBook... and my passive SUB5. :D Although GAS is being a beyotch and kicking me in the butt causing me to desire a 20th SR5 HS maple & matching headstock.

Anyone wanna trade a SUB5 for a 20th SR5 HS???? (I believe I know the answer to this question but it never hurts to ask. :) )
