Here is rendering showing the silhouette of the the 3% wider body. The original profile is shown as a blue outline. Once I re-model the rest of the body I will post another shot.

Oh...my...God!!! My knees are weak.

Hey... Me too! But not because of this Bongo incarnate. ;)

Seriously, though - it is great to see this stuff iin the process of development. Nice going BP & Team. When we see it hanging in Guitar Center we'll be able to say "I remember when..." and that's just plain cool!

Hey Jon thanks for the render. Are you going to base the 6er neck off of the excellent SR5 neck? Also are you going with the same spacing as the 5s?

Now that's a whole lotta bass. I like the bigger body -- it looks more proportional. Very pleasing to the eye. This is going to be an incredible instrument.

Speaking of which, at band practice last night I was playing the Stealth Bongo 4 HS. Our sit-in drummer said, "Is that the one designed by BMW? It's really cool." The keyboard player calls it "The Batman Bass." I'm glad no one thinks it's ugly or anything because I'd have to kick their a**. That's not such a good thing to do to one of your bandmates. But if push came to shove I would have to defend its honor. ;)

guys stop it now you are close to ruining this for others. If you dont like the thread go to the next one. A camel is a horse designed by committee. Please let us do our job and in return we will keep you in the loop and include you as a spectator in the creative process.

the next renderings will have some reflect an adjustment of the knobs Im not happy the radius that is being used now that the body is wider and want to lower them slightly from the pickguard.

BP, I dont think anyone means any disrespect. They are just curious* and excited, as am i! People are going to talk on a forum, and hey, none of them have actual input so, sucks to be them! :D

*I dont mean bi-curious, but if thats anyone's particular thing, hey, more power to ya!

Of course everyone is excited about this....
Of course everyone is curious....
Of course everyone has questions....

Ask yourself this before you ask the question....has EBMM and their staff ever failed us with new products? No....

So let's respect BP's wishes and keep the questions to ourselves until a later date...no sense in tainting the thinking process here. We are in a unique position on the forum in that we get peek at the new upcoming products and ideas. Let's keep ourselves firmly planted in that position....it is a priviledge to see this...not a right. We (customers) are in good hands....trust me....I know.

Enjoy the view....thanks again for sharing Big Poppa.
