OT: A rallying call for EBMM Forumites.

It has been very evident over the past year since I joined that this forum is as thick as thieves when it comes to helping others, whether monetary or just rallying round for the good of one. You guys ARE the best, no dispute. I am making a plea for you all to show your worth once again, though it will cost you nothing more than a few short clicks of your mouse!!

My band.. The Loop have an entry in 'Thexperiment', run by Planetnotion.com whereby, if we are chosen we will win some recording time, inclusion onto a major film soundtrack, various gig opportunities, national publicity and the chance to be signed by a major label.

Now, can you imagine me now on bended knee to you all..... stop laughing at the back, you!!
Please visit the Website and browse for The Loop. Have a listen to Shame then, and this is the important bit, give us a 10/10!! Even if you can't stand us or the song.

Just an FYI, my band Dead Seven was in a very similar contest on Myspace just recently and we finished very near the top.... apparently they don't take fan voting very heavily into their final considerations. The band that they ultimately chose was nowhere near the top in fan voting, in fact at the close of the contest, I surfed through the first 40+ pages of rankings in the fan votings and couldn't even find them.

Trust me, I'm not trying to rain on your parade, give it your all and I know everyone here will help as much as possible. Just saying we had high expectations when the thing ended and our logo was on the first page... it was crushing to see who they picked.

My wife wrote rules and ran these type of contests for a living for years, she informed me that legally, they have to listen to every entry, no matter who finishes where in the fan voting.

Anyway, I gave you guys a solid 10, good stuff and best of luck! Keep us updated.
