hahahaha

Dyer Maker by Led Zeppelin. That song makes me want to gargle toilet water

That "we built this city" song by Jefferson Starship makes me want to light myself on fire

I can't stand that song "don't worry, be happy".........makes me want to hit the guy singing it with a frying pan........... it always comes on when I'm not in the mood to be happy.

Sub, LMAO...................

Ah, serious and lame Alanis sucks but I do recommend her rendition of The Black Eyed Peas "My Humps". A great song that explores the glory of "humps" and "lovely lady lumps".

Any DragonForce. Simply for the fact someone who has no idea of what "talent" is will say something like "These guys are fast, therefore they are good" when a song is playing... Hilarious band (studio-wise), they're just SO SLOPPY. Can't even play a sweep :( :p

What a fun thread that could go on until the every end of time itself.

My selections (cos you cant just pick one) would be...

- Anything by the Arctic Monkeys/Razorlight/The Kooks..you get the picture.
- Any song from an artist or artists that have "Vs" or "featuring" in there name.
- 95% of anything that makes it onto an "Ibiza Anthems" compilation
- That stoopid The Frey song that gets played on Uk radio every 10 seconds and the guy sounds like he cant be arsed to finish a word..aaarrrggghhhh

Everything that Bob Seger has ever recorded. Future releases as well........

Sorry to our Southern friends. But, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers make me want to poke my eardrums out with a rusty fork............

"Simple Man" is a rockin' song too...

But this thread is titled "Songs you cannot stand" so mine for this week is "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult. Dumb dumb dumb.

Let's just agree to disagree, eh? Both of those songs give me gas.

In fact, all "Southern Rock" makes me cringe. It's just country with a distortion pedal.

And the "singer" from Molly Hatchet sounds like Fozzie Bear.

I know you are all going to hate me for saying this, but anything Frank Zappa has ever done makes me want to eat packing peanuts until I explode. "Experimental" just doesn't do it for me. *ducking*

....horribly sung.

I went through a Southern Rock phase about 25 years ago. The one band that has stuck with me ever since is the Allman Brothers. I do love me some Allmans, especially the early stuff. But the vocal on that song makes me cringe. Out of key, wandering all over the place...eechhhhhh.
