this one hurts

"Your beautiful"-James Blunt. I need a Blunt object to my skull when I accidentally catch THAT one. hahaha The only time that tune is relevant is during the scene in the movie Hostel when the guy takes the blowtorch to that poor girls eye! hahaha Ouch!
I know these are all cheap shots and some people LOVE these songs but damn.. anything that repeats over and over and over again..
"Sugar sugar" by the Archies, another classic and any Bobby Sherman ( Iam REALLY dating myself here) "Julie Julie Julie do ya love me"
AHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !! HELP! I can hear it. haha
Have a nice day

JAMES BLUNT - god dont get me started.

That guy used to be a soldier - protecting the Queen, fighting in Kosovo....

...and now he produces such whiney, droney sh*t. Man where have your balls gone.

"I'll never be with you" - boo frickity hoo

There's a bullet somewhere with his name on it - please someone find it!

You all seem very angry about these poor people!! ....wanting to cut your toes off indeed!

Fortunately the radio comes with an off switch (or as I like to call it the Elton John switch) to spare you all this grief and heartache.

Re- read an old "Guitarist" mag today in which Steve Lukather was talking about how much Elvis Costello had always despised Toto. One man's meat......

Strange thing how all these universally hated songs seem to sell so many copies.

but damn.. anything that repeats over and over and over again..

Beatles, Number Nine? :D

Continuing the wang-chunging:

That theme song from the "Dirty Dancing" movie.. 'time of my life' or something?
Ugh!

"Sometimes When We Touch" - Dan Hill -> worse than having your Wang Chung'd.

Anything by Richard Marx. No denying the guy's talented.. but one of his talents is making crap records.

That's a completely different thread. For about 20 years I thought the lyrics to "Lodi" by CCR were: "Oh lord, sucking on an old diaphragm." Kind of made the song happen for me. Earlier in this thread, someone mentioned "Blinded By The Light"--on the Manfred Mann cover I thought the lyric was: "Wrapped up like a douche...."

Sorry, I'll stop before hijacking any further.

I think it's easier to just name genres and bands so here goes.

Boy bands
rap or any other kind of ghetto trash
Blink 182
Nickel Crack
Linkin Fart and other so-called "heavy" bands
disco
schmaltz-ey stuff (i.e. Celine Dion, Avril Levigne)

Oh gawd, not C W McCall!

Don't forget Carl Douglas and his one hit wonder (as in we all wonder why it was a hit), Kung Foo Fighting....

I'm ashamed to say we play that song almost every gig...the things we have to do to play out....

I do b'leeb Ryon sent me somethin yesterday. I'm just stirring the pot a little bit because that's what I do when I need a nap.

BTW, if you made it into my NAMM vid, you're famous!

Pete! I know Ryon will take good care of ya ;) He sits about five feet away from me, so I'll make sure of it!

As for your NAMM video .. I think I noticed my shy and embaraased face. I think I was the first girl you passed with the camera ..
don't let the black wig and leather jacket fool you. Hahaha
When I become famous I'll be sure to mention my 3 second moment of glory on the Dubaldo NAMM video. hehe

OK

If you want to combine whiny singers and the 70's, the worst hit song of all time is.............

Seasons in the Sun

Please, just stop singing about it and die already......................

Top Bottom
