dude JP's way too good! it kills me
I think this dark growl comes from a recti, it would just be typical.
maybe look out for a roadster.Hm, rectifier....good point, asking myself if I should get one!?
is your back sore when you get up...harder time reading the small print....hair growing out your ears.....grey creeping in....find yourself replaing your cd s on Itunes with only old stuff..Do you forget if you locked the door? TUrned off the coffee machine?
Dont worry its not age.....
Wow, it's too bad I can only count to 6 on one hand, Portnoy counts to 7 a few times.

I'll take a Mark IV over a Rectifier ANY DAY!
Heavier?????? hehe, l guess l must be getting older, i used to dig alot of heavy music, but not so much now, the same with long guitar solos, give me a nice melodic solo over a million notes a second.
Scott.
Amp guessers...It's a Mark IV. The G3 rig = new live rig apparently. Also when recording he used the POWER section of the Mark IIC+. It was Mark IV and sometimes it's pre split off into a Mark IIC+ for different sounds. There's also a Lonestar on the some solos.
I'll bet this record boosts Mark IV sales. Cud, you can get some cranky, heavy tones out of those. In fact, I've always been more partial to the Mark because it's versatility far outweighs the ol' Rectifiers. It's just got something different under the hood. And because you can find them on the used tip between $900 and $1100...woo.
