Hey, I know there are some other owners of the EBMM JPM 7's on this site, just wondering if you could help me out with a couple of problems I'm having.
When I bought the guitar of a friend who barely played it, the bridge was caving in a little bit into the body. So when i decided to change the strings, i just released a bit of pressure on the springs, bringing the bridge back to the regular height.
After finishing with the strings/setting the neck and bridge, I plugged her in and it sounded perfect, UNTIL i went to clean and flicked the peizo on. All the strings were being picked up except the low B.
I then pulled on the tremolo arm, and there it was. I could only hear it when the bridge was pulled in closer to the body, just like when i received the guitar, the bridge was caved in a bit, possibly so the peizo could pick it up.
So i lowered the bridge a bit until I could hear the string clearly, but now everytime i use the tremolo arm, the peizo for that string cuts out everytime I push down.
Are my saddles too high? or has anyone else had this problem?
also, andother problem i'm having, is that the springs in the tremolo are always cracking when i every vibrate/dive with the tremolo arm, coming out very clear.
Right now there are four springs hooked up.
If anyone could help me out with these couple of problems it would be very appreciated. thanks
