Upon seeing the bigger picture, I'm pretty sure that's Egyptian Smoke, and not White.

I know where John could try a White HSP Bongo fretless, though. Should I pm my cellphone to BP so he can hand it off to JP and it might make its way to JM?

Gooooood decision to look in the bassy corners before asking that Myung question in the guitar branch... Me too I was completely excited having bought the new DT album last week and seeing John M playing nuthin' but different MM basses throughout the vid and documentary. Man, I guess he knows what's good :D:D:D

You never know, it could be raw and unfinished after all! Strange things are going on around here!

Haven't you seen the studio pictures of JM's Bongo 5? It's 100% ES.

Looks like Ruby to me...

I really hope JM would play the Bongo 6, I had a feeling this will be the outcome since the vidoes of him playing MMs in the studio.

Found another clearer picture of it.
Looks like JP got another Walnut JP6 F1?

Yup, turns out it's Walnut.

But the Bongo in the studio was HH, and I'm allmost positive that this isn't ES. It's way too bright, it doesn't get this bright even under extreme lighting... It really looks like Gunsmoke, compare to JP's JP7 in Gunsmoke.

This one looks like an Egyptian Smoke HH 5 to me...

Having blown the pic up a bit in photoshop, I think what I was interpreting as a second coil on the neck pickup was motion blur.

No, that's not ES
